145.8

Wonderful, today I love my scale, I woke up, and walked towards my scale with very cautious steps - I did not want the disappointment - I got on the scale waited the 3 seconds, without looking down, thinking: "even if I am on a plateau, then fine, I might not have lost weight, but hey, I am gaining muscles", then I looked! 145.8 great. I am so happy, one more pond and a half and I would have reached my goal for November 10th.

I am going for a walk with Hubby and son, hopefully make a 4 miler... and I will be having a veggie-omelet for breakfast.

I am Happy.

147

I put on the half pound back on, but I am not upset at all, I know I have not eaten out of what my diet allows, and I work out, walked on the treadmill for 4 miles, however I really think I am building muscles. I can tell my muscles are becoming stronger. SO I am fine actually, i am am very happy, I look more toned.
So I will not let myself be discouraged, I just have to work harder.

I feel that by Next Monday i can report a 145 or better a 144. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Not much to mention!!

Hey all,

Great job 2 Tough.. happy for you!
Salt-Liksus: yes, we need to walk more and more.

For me, although no new about my weight, but at least as it is from last time. Will work on it!!

Hope we'll have happy results after a while from hiking and walking here and there guys :)

What about the others really? we didn't hear anything about their results..!

Keep it up.

Yesterday's walk, today's gain

Good morning all,
DG and I walked 4 miles yesterday (16 laps.) I have to admit that the laps are getting easier and easier to finish and it has become easy for us to miscalculate them. Yesterday, for the first time in a long long while, I started outpacing other walkers on the track. I felt a good surge of energy. I might return to jogging if walking becomes too ineffective. Let's hope my legs remember how! :P Walking, I feel, takes a lot more time to burn a sufficient amount of calories. Jogging on the other hand is murder on the knees.
On the not-so-hot front of weight loss, I woke up today to learn that I was back to 204 lbs. I consider this a minor setback if that. I think my momentum has begun to pick up.
DG and I have been reflecting that we haven't missed a single day of walking this week. I pray the weather maintains it's cooperation with our goals!
DG and Jambalaya, we haven't heard from you in quite a while. Please update us with any news!
I am on my way down with Pounds, and very happy to announce it. Going for a walk today and hope all goes well, and tomorrow I will report that I lost 10 pounds :) (wishful thinking)

I am looking forward to this weekend, I really want to make my Goal for November,

I am making Chicken with a non fat Sauce, and will eat a salad on the side for lunch. I had a snack bar for breakfast and will have fruits for dinner.

What are you guys up to?

Progress Report

Good morning folks. I am happy to report that my weight is at 202 lbs this morning. Walking 10 laps (2.5 miles) last night and the night before with DG had something to do with it. I hope this wonderful weather sustains for a little longer. I will try not to miss a single night if I could help it! How is progress on your front? DG, Jambalaya & 2 Tough? I hope all is well. :)

Hike this weekend...

Hello Gang! DG and I were thinking of hiking this Sunday. We were thinking of either Mission Peak in Fremont or the PG&E trail in Rancho San Antonio in Los Altos. Are you folks interested in joining us? I checked the weather for Sunday and it's going to be a nice 64F. Mission Peak has a round trip of 6 miles but is very steep (should be a fantastic challenge). Rancho San Antonio's PG&E trail is 9 miles but a lot gentler (has lots of shady areas and varies in terrain). Neither is flat and both will reward you with beautiful scenery. Mission Peak tends to get crowded a lot faster so we have be to at the parking lot at around 7 a.m. . Rancho has a lot more parking available and can have spots available till 8:00 a.m. . Both hikes should take us anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. Take a jacket with you just in case.
If you are interested please call us or comment on this blog. Also, call us for directions! We would LOVE to have you join us.

This weekend should be fun.

Hey there Gang.

I am weighing myself tomorrow, however I walked 4 miles yesterday.
I feel so proud and happy that finally I started walking even if by myself, or with my baby boy in a stroller.

I am planning on walking 4 miles today as well, wish me luck.

I hope you are all doing well, and I hope your diets and exercises are coming along well.

Kisses to all of you.

Walking helps!

On Saturday, DG, Jambalaya Boy and Princess walked a little over 10 miles in San Francisco. Boy did that pay off! I weighed in at 203 lbs on Sunday. I am happy! Progress is slow but steady. Patience young Paduwan. Patience. The road is arduous but it rewards those that stay the course.
