Stagnation Nation

Hello folks! Sorry for the abrupt shortage in posts. I got a little busy at the office. All things are quiet at the diet front. My weight is still stuck at 204 lbs. Yesterday Jambalaya Boy, DG and myself went for a 6.25-mile walk. The outcome? Well it should have been a happy morning, but yesterday, I got so hungry after the walk that I had a bowl of cereal and soy milk right before bedtime. Not very smart on my part and it went against my better judgement. No matter though. This morning, a co-worker bought bagels and shmears for the entire office and I managed to resist them outright. I got tempted a couple of times, but I deflected the temptation by giving the bagels to my cubicle neighbors. So I feel that I haven't truly given up on my task, and I sincerely hope everyone else is doing the same.

I read your post 2Tough, and I hope you get the chance to gain momentum again. Keep up the good work everyone, our goals should not be the end of the journey, but rather the continuation of healthier lifestyles for all of us. Good habits should be learned and shared. I will start sharing what I know about my diet plan. This will help me better reflect on myself, and where I can fine-tune my diet.

  1. OK, here is a thing, I walked on the treadmill with 1 pound in each hand, and I burnt more calories, and my arms look better.
    So I suggest, since we are sharing, that women pick up a pound -dumbbell - in each hand and the men 3 to 4 pounds in each hand. It really works, and walk with it with an upward downward movement as you walk.

    Ok, I will weigh myself it 2 days, then let you guys know, hopefully I will drop the weight I put back on.
